ABOUT EMYoga:

EMYoga is a tantra, that is a weaving, of two powerful disciplines, Eden Energy Medicine and tantra yoga.

Eden Energy Medicine teaches how to balance and heal the 9 major energy systems of the body. Lauren has been studying and practicing EEM since 2003. In 2012, she formally enrolled in the two year certification program and is now a certified Eden Energy Medicine practitioner. She has been a teaching assistant for Donna Eden, EEM’s founder, since 2009.

Lauren started studying yoga in 1996 at Jivamukti Yoga Center in New York City. In the winter of 1997, she received her teacher training certification through Integral Yoga. She immediately began teaching at the IY ashram in Greenwich Village. When she relocated to Montana she continued teaching and opened her own yoga studio and organic vegetarian restaurant in the resort town of Whitefish.

During her travels and large breaks from teaching, Lauren began intuitively combining these two methodologies. It soon became clear that she had discovered the power of something being more than the sum of its parts. Weaving together these two techniques revealed something deeper about both of the individual practices. She began teaching bits and pieces of this in her classes and to her private clients. The practice increased and strengthened until a curriculum and then a book organically emerged.

“I owe a deep debt and endless gratitude to my two teachers, who supported and encouraged me even when I struggled. Without their love and wisdom, I would never have been able to create what I have created, and to share it with you here.”
